It seems that peer pressure has gotten me as well. Here we go here we go here we go.
1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
It seems that I have been around for seven years now. Funny, it doesn't feel that long. Possibly because I did not start submitting any art until I got into 3D rendering (2012). I mostly used it to browse art behind mature filters.
2. What does your username mean?
Frankly, it should mean "mighty non-American whitey appropriates a piece of Native American culture". But it means "coyote" in Pawnee.
Skiriki was the name of my character in a oWoD MUSH long gone -- she was an Orphan mage (who was frankly close to becoming a Marauder, since her perception of the world was rather unique), with a drop of werecoyote in her. The name just... stuck with me. I'm sorry. This is definitely my bad and I need to find a better name for myself in future.
3. Describe yourself in three words.
Cynical, weird, perv.
4. Are you left or right handed?
Ambivalent. There are tasks I attempt to perform left-handed way in a consistent manner, which suggests that there's a decent chance that I may have been left-handed, but I was born during time and in place when and where people were forcibly taught right-handed, and I have seen first-hand (pun not intended) my mom attempting to correct my cousin from left-handedness to right-handedness, although her brother/kid's father stepped in and told her to stop that.
5. What was your first deviation?
I should make an IRay version of that one, I really enjoyed posting this bit of WTF.
6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
3D, digital. Duh. However, I also enjoy painting miniatures and sculpting them.
7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Miniature sculpting and casting, probably. I'd love to do some less traditional custom miniatures for people who want such. Like an elderly sage granny, or bad-ass soccer mom busting zombie skulls.
8. What was your first favourite?
Gosh. I started faving arts fairly late, BUT, it turns out that this one is my favorite:
You can guess why.
9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Let's start with the assumption it is 3D/Digital we're talking about.
WEIRD art. I love to vomit the weirdness that lives in my head (and you've seen only a fraction of it) to 3D, and see what comes out of it. I try not to take myself too seriously, or my weirdness too seriously; I have some fondness for dadaism and surrealism, and Google's Deep Dreaming makes me giddy in ways usually seen in some Cthulhu cultist.

My next fave type is to do non-traditional women. Seriously, the world is full of women who are awesome in their own ways, why do we always get to see that same pale face, same modern-standard body, etc? Boooooh-ring.
Moocow Lady agrees with me.
Finally, I have my kinkier side, but I'm keeping it off dA.
10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
Gosh, no such thing. Y'all are magnificent in your own ways, and I mean it. No, I seriously mean it. To put yourself into the harsh spotlight of the internet? Hells, it took me a long while to submit any art, 'cause I know how the 'net can be.
11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Eeep. This is going to be a long list.
Let's start with my immediate bunch of friends, friends I "see" almost every day in Skype (in no particular order):
I wish I could have met Jaderail and I miss him so much. :bademoticon:
Other people I'd like to meet, again, in no particular order, and because of various reasons (they do art, they're a friend, their stuff kicks butt, I want to say 'thank you for making my life easier', etc etc etc):
Finally, people I have met: and
12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
While I don't hang in dA, there's a group of people who have made my life better and who are members of dA. You can see them listed above, as an example. There are more, not listed here, and who also deserve praise.
13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
DAZ Studio, 3D Coat, Photoshop CS5, GIMP, acrylics and brushes plus a ton of miniatures.
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Scumbag Brain says "that moment just as I am about to fall asleep".
Also, sleeping. I have extremely vivid and life-like dreams... that just happen to be also really weird and messed up.
15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
I guess it is "that time I posted my first bit of clunky art to a group and I wasn't devoured alive or even savaged much".
Or "finding all the wonderful freebie resources people have posted, and are letting us use to improve our art".

Still alive, amazingly enough
2024 has started on a wrong foot, I should say. At the end of November 2023, I finally caught Covid-19 despite all the precautions I have taken. I was moderately flattened to bed, and I'm still having lingering effects from two and half week bout it took to start testing not-positive. Easily fatigued, sore throat. I'm pissed off that I caught it, because our city messed up the vaccination program and now I can't get the booster vaccine until three months later and right now variants seem to be spawning furiously. I was supposed to have kittens, with calculated time being New Year's Eve. Wow! What a timing! Unfortunately, Lobsang pulled Oscar-worthy performance of false pregnancy. She had pink nips! She had even milky dots in them! She was affectionate and purring and craving for tummy-rubs (all of those are no-no in her usual mode of behavior). She even tried to give birth three times, with some definite mess involved! Third time was when I and the breeder called false pregnancy and
Beep boop, I still exist!
Sooo, it turns out that now I have 4 cats, two adults and two cattens. Mort and Lobsang are here to stay; Lobsang will continue the line, Carisma is now spayed, and Mort is staying because nobody wants a broken kitten 😭 (Shush! She's not broken! She's the most lovable lil' snugglefluff!). Didi continues being Didi. Both kittens are absolutely crazy about getting wet -- that is, they WILL accompany their hoomins to shower and sauna and both will run under shower water, and Lobsang is especially delighted about being soaking wet and running around like a miniature sabretooth cat in a jungle of her imagination. I'm kinda stuck with my art thing (and now that I said that, all of the sudden I have an idea 😮). I'm going to try and see if I can waken up 3D urge after doing some painting and embroidery in real life. I'll probably have to do some Lootmas cards and such as well. Other future prospects include "I need to bake a turkey, and figure out what kind of stuffing I want to do for it".
KITTENS!
So, Carisma's final litter of kittens is here. You can see the adorable bebs in their Twitter. https://twitter.com/DidiCarisma/ You can also read what happened, but please heed content notes, they are there for a very good reason.
2020 sure was a thing, huh
Right! I have survived 2020 mostly unscathed. There was a massive building complex renovation, which meant evacuating for three weeks to AirBnB place: me, Otter, both cats, while renovation team was hammering our apartment into shape. Basically everything except walls, ceiling and windows was swapped to something new and shiny and even those got replaced in bathroom and sauna. I have documented most of this in my kittytwitter account; everything started in February, mostly with outdoors repairs, as our building (out of three) was the last one to get apartment stuff done. In August, my kitties were gifted extra space! Our August and September was furious packing up of our stuff and both cats figured out that something must be afoot. That was confirmed when both of them got scooped into their own carriers and packed into car and hauled to a strange new place. Oh noes! Actually, they kind of liked it. It was a really compact (read: kinda small, like you have no idea) place, and they
